Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves handling a variety of materials, operating warehouse equipment, and supporting the efficient management of stock.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and possess mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance when necessary.

Duties
- Handling materials efficiently and safely across various warehouse zones
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery following safety protocols
- Managing shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and verification
- Using warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and movements
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch with accuracy
- Stocking shelves and organising stock storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Loading and unloading lorries using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Assisting with mechanical maintenance or minor repairs of warehouse equipment as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all necessary equipment and systems
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures and safety standards
- Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is advantageous; certification is desirable but not mandatory as training can be arranged
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is beneficial
- Practical understanding of shipping & receiving processes, picking & packing techniques, and stock management practices
- Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of basic equipment maintenance is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in order fulfilment and stock control
Salary & Terms
- Morning shift starting at 5am
- Any 5 days per week
- £12.71 per hour
- PPE required
- Start time 4am/ 5am
- 8h shift
