Fair Work Agency Safeguards
Protecting Workers. Protecting Supply Chains.
Corr Recruitment operates in sectors where worker protection, transparency and legal compliance are critical. Our safeguarding framework is built around standards aligned with the Fair Work Agency, formerly the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), alongside wider UK labour market enforcement requirements. We take a proactive approach to preventing exploitation, illegal working and unfair labour practices across all assignments.
Preventing Worker Exploitation
Safeguarding begins with early identification and prevention.
Corr maintains structured controls designed to detect and prevent:
- Forced labour or coercion
- Debt bondage or worker-paid recruitment fees
- Identity fraud or document falsification
- Withheld wages or unlawful deductions
- Unlawful working arrangements
All recruitment activity is structured to ensure fair treatment, voluntary engagement and transparent pay.
Right to Work & Legal Eligibility
Through certified digital identity verification and structured compliance oversight, Corr ensures:

Escalation & Reporting
Safeguarding requires more than policy. It requires clear routes, defined accountability and documented action. At Corr Recruitment, concerns relating to worker welfare, suspected exploitation or compliance breaches follow a structured escalation process:
- Workers are informed at onboarding how to raise concerns safely and confidentiall.
- Concerns can be raised directly with branch management or escalated to the Compliance Manager
- All reports are formally logged within our compliance system
- Each case is reviewed, investigated and documented
- Where appropriate, matters are escalated to senior leadership or referred to relevant authorities
Every concern follows a defined path, there is no informal handling or no undocumented outcomes, this ensures full audit traceability.
Governance in Action
Safeguarding reports are reviewed at management level and recorded to ensure full traceability. Outcomes are monitored and actions tracked, providing visibility and accountability across the business.
All safeguarding concerns are formally acknowledged within 24 hours and progressed through defined review stages. Where required, Corr cooperates fully with relevant enforcement bodies and regulatory authorities.
During peak periods, Corr may support up to 4,000 temporary workers. Safeguarding controls are systemised, not volume-dependent. Increased demand does not dilute oversight, escalation or documentation standards.
Ongoing Regulatory Awareness
We know labour market regulation evolves, which is why our Compliance Manager monitors regulatory updates, enforcement guidance and sector developments to ensure our safeguarding framework remains current, compliant and robust.
Safeguarding is not a statement of intent. It is a structured responsibility. Corr Recruitment aligns its governance, compliance and workforce management processes to protect workers, clients and supply chains through defined oversight, documented controls and accountable leadership.
