How It All Started...
Corr Recruitment was founded in 2001 by Danny Corr after several years working within two of the major recruitment agencies in the UK. During that time he saw first-hand how many businesses were being served by large suppliers who understood recruitment, but didn’t always understand the local markets or the pressures their clients were dealing with day to day.
Danny believed recruitment should feel far more straightforward. Businesses needed a partner who understood their operations, and workers needed a process that felt organised, supportive and professional from the first conversation through to the job itself. The idea behind Corr was simple: build a recruitment company rooted in local knowledge, strong relationships and excellent customer service, creating a seamless experience for both clients and workers.
The Beginning…
Built from the Ground Up...
Like many founder-led businesses, the early days were built on determination. Danny was delivering letters as a Royal Mail postman in the mornings before heading into the office to build the recruitment business during the day. It was a practical start, but it set the tone for the business hardworking, hands-on and focused on doing the job properly.
Industrial recruitment was the starting point. As relationships developed, the business expanded into transport and logistics, followed by commercial recruitment, hospitality and GLAA-regulated sectors, steadily building a workforce capability across multiple industries.

From One Client to a National Presence
The company’s first client was EAF in Wokingham, quickly followed by Whitbread Food Logistics. Corr later became Whitbread’s sole recruitment supplier during the period when Costa Coffee was being integrated across the UK an early example of how Corr’s service-led approach and understanding of operational environments helped build long-term partnerships.
Over the years Corr has been involved in a number of memorable operations. Because of its reputation for reliability and excellent customer service, the business has supported a wide range of high-profile logistics, warehousing and operational environments across the UK.

What Hasn’t Changed
Today Corr Recruitment celebrates 25 years in business. Throughout that time the company has remained privately owned and independent. In an industry where many agencies have been absorbed into larger corporate groups or investment portfolios, Corr has deliberately chosen to retain its independence. That independence allows the business to remain agile, responsive and focused on delivering the high level of service that shaped the company from the start.
And while the business has grown significantly since 2001, one thing has never changed Corr’s commitment to delivering excellent customer service and creating a seamless journey for both workers and clients. It is the principle the company was built on, the reason many partnerships have lasted for years, and the standard that continues to guide the business today.
