Support for Temporary Workers
Real-time support and clear communication on every shift.
Support for Temporary Workers During Assignments
Starting a new assignment can mean working in a new environment with different teams, supervisors and working practices. Support for temporary workers helps ensure you understand your assignment and know who to contact if you need assistance.
Before each assignment begins, Corr Recruitment provides key information such as the location, shift times and any important workplace details. While working on assignment, day-to-day supervision is normally provided by the client’s on-site team, with Corr remaining available if guidance or support is needed.
Workers can contact their Corr consultant if they have questions about their assignment, pay, working arrangements or any concerns that arise during their placement.
Throughout the year Corr also shares practical reminders and wellbeing guidance through social channels, helping workers stay informed about topics such as seasonal safety, fatigue, hydration and general workplace wellbeing.
Reporting Absence or Changes
Reliable attendance is important for both workers and the clients they support. If you are unable to attend a shift for any reason, it is important to notify your Corr Recruitment consultant or the agreed contact point as soon as possible. Early communication allows the recruitment team to inform the client and help manage any changes to the assignment.
Clear absence reporting procedures are explained at the start of each assignment so workers understand who to contact if circumstances change.
Workplace Health and Safety
Health and safety is a shared responsibility between Corr Recruitment, the client and the worker. When starting a new assignment, workers will be informed about relevant workplace safety procedures and any site-specific rules that apply. These may include guidance on equipment, protective clothing or safe working practices.
Workers are expected to follow the client’s health and safety instructions and report any hazards or safety concerns to their supervisor or Corr consultant.
Following these procedures helps maintain safe working environments for everyone on site. Stay informed and work safely, access practical guidance and your rights at work here.
Assignment Communication
Temporary assignments can vary in length, location and shift pattern, which makes clear communication important.
Corr Recruitment provides workers with assignment details before each placement begins. If assignments change, finish or new opportunities become available, the Corr team will communicate updates directly with workers.
This structured communication helps workers move between assignments with clear information and continued support for temporary workers from the Corr Recruitment team.
