Pay Rate

  • £13.50 per hour

Job Summary

  • Driving a van to deliver goods across multiple locations
  • Supporting both delivery and warehouse operations
  • Maintaining high standards of service and reliability

Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver goods in line with delivery schedules
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secure during transit
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Carry out basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
  • Support warehouse activities including stock organisation and inventory handling

Requirements

  • Valid UK driving licence (Category B minimum)
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • Previous van or delivery driving experience advantageous
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle checks
  • Physically able to lift and handle goods safely
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations beneficial
  • Proactive approach to safety and compliance
