Day Shift Warehouse Operative Role in Bedford

Monday to Friday

08:00 – 17:00

Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Scanning products and updating stock records
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Working with colleagues to ensure orders are completed on time
• Following all health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience Required

Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided.

You should be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Good attention to detail is important, along with the ability to work well within a team.

Experience using hand scanners, pallet trucks or other warehouse equipment would be an advantage.

Heavy lifting may be involved as part of this role.
