The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Corr, you provide a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse, requiring the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across client relationships, recruitment delivery, commercial development and operational performance.
This is a 360 role, combining client development, candidate delivery and operational responsibility, giving you full ownership of the recruitment process and a direct impact on business performance.

You will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering recruitment campaigns, developing business opportunities, ensuring operational performance and maintaining high standards of compliance.
Client Management
Building strong relationships and understanding each client’s business sits at the core of the role.
- Develop a strong understanding of managed clients, their industry, operations and working environment
- Act as the lead point of contact for all matters relating to clients and candidates
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with both clients and candidates
- Ensure any changes to client agreements are authorised by the Branch Manager

Recruitment Delivery
Delivering a consistent, well-managed recruitment process is central to ensuring the right outcomes for clients and candidates.
- Manage start to finish recruitment campaigns, including advertising vacancies, managing candidate shortlisting and interviews, candidate registration via CRM and referencing
- Fill bookings ensuring candidates are fully briefed on client details, job responsibilities and remuneration
- Organise client interviews where required
- Conduct inductions when required
- Carry out candidate check-ins
- Respond to client enquiries
- Confirm timesheets in line with agreed processes and rates

Account Development & Growth
Growing client relationships and identifying new opportunities is a key part of developing a successful desk.
- Forecast and plan workforce requirements for managed contracts, including PPE and temp worker holiday planning
- Develop new revenue streams within managed and lapsed clients
- Cross-sell services across departments, depots and locations
- Generate leads through calls, emails and ongoing client communication
- Hold regular catch-ups with clients to identify new bookings and opportunities
- Explore vacancies advertised by clients both internally and externally

Client Reviews & Performance Management
Regular review and performance tracking ensures service delivery remains aligned to client expectations and future demand.
- Conduct regular service review meetings with Branch Managers and clients
- Gather feedback on service delivery and identify areas for improvement
- Discuss future workforce requirements
- Provide feedback from temporary workers
Track and review key account performance against agreed KPIs - Identify opportunities for additional services, departments or recruitment solutions

- Work towards and exceed KPIs relating to registrations, placements and revenue (Gross Profit)

Operational Responsibility
Strong operational discipline and attention to detail keep the day-to-day running smoothly for clients, candidates and the wider team.
- Provide out of hours service on a rotational basis
- Keep the company database (CRM) up to date
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure payroll runs smoothly and issues are resolved within deadlines
- Respond to worker pay queries and holiday requests
- Prepare and maintain management information including KPI tracking and booking data
- Keep knowledge of competitors and market activity up to date
Support the development of junior team members

Sales & Business Development
Developing new business and expanding existing relationships drives long-term success and growth.
- Use sales, business development and marketing techniques to generate new business
- Contact potential clients through calls, field activity, social media and online campaigns
- Negotiate fees and service level agreements (with Branch Manager approval)
- Work towards and exceed targets relating to placements, revenue and sales activity
- Identify new business leads
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity on CRM
