Busy warehouse and distribution company based in Bedford is looking for reliable Order Pickers to join its growing team.

Order Picker Role in Bedford

Monday to Friday

08:00 – 17:00

Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods.

Duties of an Order Picker

• Picking customer orders accurately using handheld scanners or pick sheets
• Locating and selecting stock from warehouse shelves safely
• Preparing picked orders for packing and dispatch
• Checking order accuracy before processing
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Supporting stock replenishment where required
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following all health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience Required

Previous warehouse or order picking experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided.

You should be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Strong attention to detail is important to ensure customer orders are picked accurately.

Experience using hand scanners, pallet trucks or warehouse systems would be an advantage.

Heavy lifting may be involved as part of this role.
