Corr Recruitment is supporting a growing business in Bristol with the search for an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous credit control or accounts experience who enjoys building relationships, managing financial processes and helping maintain strong cash flow across the business.

Working within a busy finance team, you will take ownership of customer accounts and play an important role in ensuring payments are collected efficiently and professionally.

The Position

Credit control is a vital part of any successful business, helping maintain healthy cash flow and ensuring financial processes run smoothly. In this role, you will manage outstanding invoices, communicate with customers regarding payments and work closely with internal teams to resolve account queries.

You will need to be confident, professional and comfortable handling financial conversations while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Duties Will Include

• Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
• Managing customer accounts and aged debt reports
• Reconciling accounts and resolving payment discrepancies
• Setting up payment plans where appropriate
• Investigating invoice queries and liaising with internal departments
• Allocating incoming payments accurately
• Preparing financial reports for senior management
• Supporting month-end finance administration

Skills Required

• Previous experience in credit control or finance/accounts
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good numerical and analytical ability
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems
• Professional approach when managing customer relationships
