Are you an experienced administrator who is organised, accurate and comfortable working with numbers?

We’re looking for a reliable Part-Time Finance Administrator to join our Finance team within a busy and growing recruitment business.

  • Hours: 9am–1pm or 10am–2pm, Monday to Thursday
  • Pay £14.50–£15.50 per hour
  • Contract: Temporary to permanent
  • Location: Hybrid/Hermitage Office

You don’t need previous finance or payroll experience. We’re looking primarily for someone with strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence using Excel and computer systems. Full training will be provided.

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time hours and a long-term role where they can develop their finance administration experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input and process temporary worker timesheets within the CRM system.
  • Assist with managing and recording holiday requests.
  • Respond to internal and external queries via email and telephone.
  • Generate and distribute reports using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Upload and process invoices within the company’s software systems.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Support bookkeeping and general finance administration activities.
  • Ensure all information is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow established processes and procedures to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance department as required.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Confident using computer systems and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and handling data.
  • Ability to follow processes and work in a structured environment.
  • Reliable, methodical, and able to manage repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy.

Desirable but not essential

  • Basic understanding of payroll processes.
  • Basic experience within recruitment, finance administration, bookkeeping, or invoicing.
