A well-established business in Basingstoke is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join its finance and administration team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll or finance administration experience who enjoys structured, detail-focused work and takes pride in accuracy. Working within a busy office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while supporting wider payroll and finance processes.

Responsibilities Include

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll information
• Calculating hours, overtime, holiday and deductions accurately
• Maintaining payroll records and employee payment data
• Responding to payroll-related queries from employees
• Supporting pension and statutory payment administration
• Liaising with HR and finance departments regarding payroll changes
• Producing payroll reports and supporting month-end reconciliation
• Ensuring payroll processes remain compliant and accurate

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous payroll or finance administration experience
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Good understanding of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
• Professional and confidential approach to sensitive information
