Located within a fast-moving warehouse and distribution network, this role is ideal for candidates who are organised, detail-focused and enjoy supporting efficient stock control.

Goods In Operative Role in Swindon

Monday to Friday

08:00 – 17:00

Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods.

Duties of a Goods In Operative

• Receiving and checking inbound deliveries against purchase orders
• Inspecting stock for damages or discrepancies
• Scanning and recording stock accurately into warehouse systems
• Organising goods into correct storage locations
• Assisting with unloading deliveries safely
• Maintaining stock accuracy and supporting inventory checks
• Keeping the goods in area clean, organised and safe
• Following all health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience Required

Previous warehouse or goods in experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided.

You should be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Strong attention to detail is important to ensure stock is checked and processed accurately.

Experience using warehouse systems, hand scanners or pallet trucks would be an advantage.

Heavy lifting may be involved as part of this role.
