Job Summary

• Working within a high-volume bakery production environment
• Supporting the preparation, production and baking of a range of products
• Ensuring all items meet quality and food safety standards

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing doughs, batters and mixes in line with recipes
• Operating bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, dividers and proofers
• Monitoring baking processes to ensure correct timing and temperature
• Carrying out quality checks on appearance, weight and consistency
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Maintaining cleanliness of workstations and equipment
• Assisting with packing, labelling and storage of finished products
• Meeting daily production targets while minimising waste
• Reporting any faults, issues or safety concerns
• Supporting team members across different production areas

Requirements

• Previous production or bakery experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable and committed approach to work
