Coronavirus Update March 2020 – Corr Recruitment Ltd
The Coronavirus is clearly an evolving situation here in the UK and globally and is a source of uncertainty for us all.
Here at Corr Recruitment Ltd, we are monitoring the situation every day. We are committed to continue supplying our clients with a full service to ensure your operations run as smoothly as possible, however with the wellbeing of our clients, workers and our team being our top priority. Should restrictions come into place, that might impact some aspects of our business, we will keep everyone updated – we have business continuity plans in place and recognise the need for supply in the areas we operate. We will continue to support when and where we can, without risk to anyone.
In the meantime, we want to update you on the actions we are proactively taking;
- To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, we are talking to and educating all our workers that we supply on these issues, and informing of the correct procedure for reporting any symptoms
- Workers have been instructed to wash their hands on entering and leaving premises and be vigilant to our client’s specific guidelines
- We are restricting all non-essential travel for our staff, but are available for various forms of video ‘online’ calls
We want to take this opportunity to reassure our clients and workers that we have taken steps we feel possible to safeguard the supply chains that we operate in. Corr Recruitment welcomes our newest addition to the Corr family and fits into a key role within our Bristol branch. Sarah Learney has joined the team as Branch Manager and comes with a great deal of experience to lead the branch and challenge the others for the top branch accolade for 2020! Here are a few words from her Regional Manager Ashlea Thompson:
“As the newest member of the Corr Collection, our Bristol Branch has already enjoyed a superb level of success to date. We have established ourselves as the agency of choice for a high proportion of national clients and several SME’s, delivering the personal and professional service on which the business is founded.
Having recently moved from Avonmouth to Bradley Stoke, we ended 2019 with shiny new offices and a renewed enthusiasm to develop the business further. 2020 has seen the team expand (beyond our Christmas waistlines) with the addition of our new Branch Manager, Sarah Learney.
Sarah has joined Corr Recruitment after 10 years within the industry, bringing with her an unprecedented knowledge of commercial and industrial recruitment. Sarah commenced her career as a Client Delivery Specialist within the industrial and hospitality sectors. She later transferred her expertise to a privately owned, niche Consultancy in Cardiff, progressing from Permanent Consultant to Recruitment Manager. Sarah joins Corr Recruitment with a passion to develop the Bristol Branch, enabling the existing team to solidify their reputation in the City and expand our reach further.
